Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on the work surface and spread with cream cheese. In a small bowl, mix together the apple sauce and cinnamon and spread over the cream cheese. Set aside.

  2. Mix together the apple, dates, oats, sugar, flour and butter. Spread the mixture evenly over the apple sauce. Bake directly on middle rack of oven for 15 to 18 min., until golden.

  3. Let cool slightly before lightly dusting with cinnamon and slicing into 8 wedges. Serve warm or at room temperature and with a scoop of Compliments Maple Walnut Ice Cream, if desired.
