Creamy Chive & Onion Sweet Potato Mash with Pecan Topping
Set a steam basket over a saucepan of simmering water and steam sweet potatoes until tender, 15 to 20 min. Stir together cream cheese, butter, salt, pepper and cumin in a saucepan over medium-low heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Keep warm.
Remove potatoes from steamer and add to melted cheese mixture. Mash until smooth. Mix in chives and cilantro. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with toasted pecans and remaining cilantro.
