Directions
Step 1
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa. Over high heat, bring to a hard boil.
Step 2
Remove from heat; stir in oats, coconut, vanilla and salt.
Step 3
Drop rounded tablespoons onto parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Let cool completely.
Tips
Once you've stirred everything together, let the kids take turns dropping the mixture onto the baking sheet with a spoon.
