Grilled Turkey Meatballs on a Bun
PREHEAT barbecue to medium. In a large bowl, add turkey, breadcrumbs, onions, garlic, salt and pepper and half the barbecue sauce and mix well. Shape mixture into 12 equal-size meatballs, about 11/4 in. (3 cm) each.
GRILL meatballs, turning every 5 min., until cooked through, about 15 min. During the last 5 min. of cooking, glaze meatballs on all sides with remaining barbecue sauce. Serve 3 meatballs per bun with garnishes.
NO BBQ? Preheat oven to 425 °F (220 °C). Arrange meatballs on a parchment paper-lined roasting pan and brush with remaining barbecue sauce. Roast until cooked through, about 15 to 20 min.
