Frequently asked questions
How do I participate?
Visit a Participating Store or go online and visit Voila.ca and purchase a participating product, and swipe or add in your Scene+ card during checkout to earn a contest entry. You can also enter without making a purchase by present your Scene+ card at the customer service desk at a Foodland and Co-op Atlantic, Ontario Foodland, IGA West, Safeway, Sobeys, Sobeys Urban Fresh, and Thrifty Foods store location (the "Participating Stores") and requesting a no-purchase entry.
Is there a limit to how often I can enter?
No, you can enter as often as you want.
How long is the contest period?
The contest runs from January 8, 2026 and ends on March 18, 2026.
What is the grand prize?
There are three (3) grand prizes to be won throughout the entire Contest Period. Each grand prize consists of 1,000,000 Scene+ points (each a "Grand Prize"). The approximate retail value of each Grand Prize is $10,000.00 (CAD).
What are the secondary prizes?
There are two hundred (200) secondary prizes to be won throughout the entire Contest Period. Each secondary prize consists of 25,000 Scene+ points (each a "Secondary Prize" and together with the Grand Prizes, the "Prizes"). The approximate retail value of each Secondary Prize is $250.00 (CAD).
How many prizes can I win?
You are only eligible to win a Prize once. For greater clarity, you can only win one (1) Grand Prize or one (1) Secondary Prize, you cannot win and claim both a Grand Prize and Secondary Prize.
How will I know if I've won?
If you are chosen to be eligible to win a Prize, you will be contacted within fourteen (14) business days of the Draw at the telephone number, email address or using the contact information that was submitted in the Entry. If you have not provided a telephone number or email address, you are not eligible to win the Prize.
What are my odds of winning?
The odds of winning a Prize depends on the total number of eligible Entries received during the Contest Period.
*NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Contest runs January 8, 2026 to March 18, 2026. Open to legal residents of Canada excluding Québec who are age of majority and have a valid Scene+ account. Enter with purchase by buying a Participating Product and scanning your Scene+ card, or enter without purchase in-store at customer service or, for Voilà customers, by submitting a handwritten essay (see full rules for details).
There are three (3) Grand Prizes of 1,000,000 Scene+ points (ARV $10,000 CAD each) and two hundred (200) Secondary Prizes of 25,000 Scene+ points (ARV $250 CAD each) available to be won. Prizes have no cash value, are non-transferable, and must be accepted as awarded. Skill-testing question required. Odds depend on number of eligible entries received. Limit one Voilà Entry per customer per day; unlimited in-store no-purchase entries per Scene+ account during Contest Period.
