- Compliments Hash Brown Fried Potatoes, thawed

- grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese

Directions
- Step 1
- In large bowl, whisk together melted eggs, flour, butter, sage, garlic, salt and pepper. Add hash brown potatoes and cheese; toss to coat.
- Step 2
- Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions. Making one waffle at a time, place one scant cup of potato mixture onto to waffle iron. Close lid; cook 4 to 5 min., or until hash browns are golden brown and crisp. Make about 8 waffles. Garnish with chives and a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
Tips
Keep waffles warm in low oven.
Serve as a brunch topped with poached egg, a dollop of cream cheese, smoked salmon and dill.
